Kyoto Japanese Steak House in Dublin

Kyoto Japanese Steak House provided a perfect location for a group of 10 to enjoy a well prepared meal in front of our plates. The entertainment factor was especially eventful from slicing, dicing, and the volcano onion building and the burst of fire. We all enjoyed the birthday party and we will come back to enjoy the food again.

Lovely decor. Great food. Attentive staff. Good show. Much better food that other hibachi restaurants I've been to in Columbus. I will be coming back. The restaurant is kinda loud but that would be expected based on the nature of the experience. I recommend a party of 2 maaaaaybe 3 if you want a conversation unless you get a large party and have the whole table so you can shout.

I ordered takeout 45 minutes in advance. It was not ready at our scheduled pick up time, they didn’t have the roll I wanted, rolls were small with only 5 pieces in each (for $12 rolls!) and the avocado was completely brown. I would not recommend takeout from this establishment.

The food is always perfect. Beautiful atmosphere and the chefs love to interact and have fun. Hands down my favorite in Columbus

Prices are pretty standard for the hibachi but definitely well worth the price. The food was cooked excellent (I got the salmon), and they even accommodated for someone else at the station for a shellfish allergy seamlessly and without question. The show and cooking were great entertainment.

Wife and I got takeout from Kyoto tonight. The habachi filet mignon dinner is fantastic! Most definitely will be eating there again!

The food is always good. Sometimes you to set with friendly diners. I like to watch my food getting cooked and served fresh and hot. The chefs are entertaining and good. The price is reasonable. The quantity is generous. The check comes to fast, and they come to the table with carry out containers making you feel like you cannot relax and enjoy you food.

Great lunch, great prices and food was better then Gengi's!!! Will be back soon.

Tony was an absolutely amazing chef ♡He had some beautiful tricks and it was truly a dinner and a show. He even set the egg on fire on the table and threw it, still abalze, in his clearly fire retardant hat. I had never seen anything like that before! I really appreciate how friendly he was. He chatted with us, humored our questions, made some beautiful magic with that food.Our meals are absolutely delicious, we got plenty of food, and felt satisfied when we left both because the meal was great and the experience was lovely.Thank you so much for the beautiful tricks with fire and magic.It's a new place that feels as if it's run only by people who've been in the business a while. The whole staff was friendly, joked with us, and made us feel comfortable. If I could give more than 5 stars I would :)

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this restaurant. I took my boyfriend here as a surprise and he has a serious sea food allergy the staff was attentive to our needs and made sure that his food was cooked first to avoid any cross contamination. They even came back multiple times to check on us and make sure that we were taken care of. The host made sure to recommend great food options and relayed our concerns about the food to the chef. I must say that the food was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection! I love the teriyaki sauce used on the chicken! I am absolutely wowed with my experience from the staff to the food! We really enjoyed our first visit to Kyoto! We will definitely be returning!

Looking for a place to spend time with some friends. Called a head, made a reservation. Ended up waiting over an hour, even with the reservation. Finally got tired of waiting and left. Felt embarrassed because it was my suggestion. Won't do that again! How do you give a half star?

Flavors were great! Chef was entertaining. Service was pretty good, friendly. The house marg needs some work ..... not sure there was any tequila or any liquor for that matter. And the last time I checked, peach doesn't not belong in a house marg. But food was solid.

Always drive pass this place and finally gave a try tonight! Really regret came in so lately! We ordered Kyoto dinner for two! Steak was cooked perfectly! Their yum yum sauce is outstanding! Most importantly, their service is great, from host to server to chef, we really felt welcome! Their sushi is great too! 30% off on specialty rolls! Definitely will go back!

Love the food, sushi California roll is also good. The owner is very friendly and always available if needed. Atmospheres great perfect lighting cleanliness is perfect!

Kyoto is the best Japanese steakhouse currently in the columbus area. It is a must go for people who enjoy this type of food.

When you arrive you are greeted with the quintessential Japanese decor the service was less than accommodating (I wanted a corner seat at a communal grill but was forced to sit in middle seats), our server was on point and top notch (might of been the only saving grace). The hibachi was flavorless unless you are in love with the taste of butter (it's put on EVERYTHING like you're in France circa 1996), the common theme seems to be yum yum sauce, it's a requirement to add any flavor to your meats and veggies, so prepare for that...if you are health conscious stay away it's butter cooked & sweat sugary dipping! Just my experience flavor is realitve & I'm sure plenty of people enjoy Kyoto.

Went in for lunch on New Year’s Day at noon and was given the “dinner menu” but also had the lunch menu on the back side of it. Mostly everyone there thought they were on lunch but apparently when one table got finished eating they received the bill with dinner prices. At that point they grabbed a manager and brought it to her attention & she said “I’m sorry you were served the dinner portions” and the table was asking them to honor the lunch price because no one up front told any incoming customers it was “dinner menu only” so some people got up and left before they even placed there orders. We were one of the few that also left. Just seems as though there communication is lacking in certain areas as a business. Didn’t understand only doing dinner on New Year’s Day anyway but to not have it posted or to not let customers know before they wait 20 minutes to be seated isn’t professional if you ask me.

They charged dinner prices on New Year's day without informing any guests of the pricing change during lunch hours. Lunch prices range from $10-15 while dinner is $20-30. When we spoke to the hostess, she said we were given dinner only menus. The lunch menu is printed inside the menu and she acted like she had no idea. She then stated we were given dinner sized portions, as if first time customers should know how many ounces of meat you receive. We spoke to other customers and they were not aware of dinner pricing at noon on a Wednesday. They were rude and unprofessional. They offered to comp the bill 30%, but then it had gratuity added on a single meal. They said they could not provide lunch pricing as we were served "dinner" portions. I will never return or recommend them to anyone. The food was also mediocre for the price.

Good food and reasonable price. Fried rice is complimentary which is such a great deal! Like their Yum-Yum sauce soooo much. I think they beat house of japan where I can only taste soy sauce from the food. Highly recommend Kyoto Japanese House!

Great value with very generous portions. I ordered a rare hibachi steak meal. Unfortunately, it was less rare and more like the outside was barely grey and the inside was still cold. Everyone at the table who ordered medium seemed pleased though.

Good overall experience, except that one of our guests had her order missed, and even after we asked why she wasn't getting anything on her plate several times (why no rice? Why no sprouts? Why no chicken?), they still didn't bring her anything. Eventually I had to get up and wander around until I found the hostess. They finally brought get some food from the kitchen. That aside... The food and the experience was good, the chef was entertaining, and the server was friendly.

I was pleasantly surprised by this place! Don't let the half filled parking lot scare you off; this is a true gem. Food was excellent and not over priced like a lot of other hibachi places. Absolutely worth the value.

The server was friendly, the Chef was entertaining and the food was cooked perfectly! Love their Double Spicy tuna rolls and fried oysters appetiser! I’ll definitely be back soon!
